Priorities

This fund assists students whose needs are not currently being met by existing financial aid programs (federal, state, local; grants, scholarships, attractive loans) and/or those students for whom loans would be overly burdensome. This fund is also meant to address unanticipated financial hurdles and/or to get students out of any financial bind which threatens their ability to continue their education at Wright State University

Established to support the operating expenses of the Friendship Food Pantry
This fund supports programs focusing on minority academic success, including the REACH program.
Adapted athletics equipment fund provides support for equipments for Adapted Athletic Program -handicapped students.

Program support for the Veterans' League student organization.
The VVP Fund supports the Veterans' Voices Project & most activities connected to the project or that support the project. As of now, this includes supporting student wages, travel for students including mileage for program (& administrators if applicable to the project), equipment, & training. It may also be used to supply promotional items that are connected to the project. (pamphlets, challenge coins, imprinted clothing for those involved in project etc)
This fund was established to assist nursing students. Recipients will be a female of African-American descent, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have financial need.
For purchasing, engraving, and placement of bricks on the paver pathway at Wingerd Service Dog Park located on the WSU Main Campus; also for improvement of facilities of the Dog Park.

To provide supplemental support for the Wright State student population receiving academic support services through the Veteran and Military Center at WSU. Can be used at the discretion of the Director of the VMC to support student success initiatives for both individual student services and group student services including, but not limited to, the following types of support: prior learning assessment (PLA); Office of Disability Services assessment; career exploration assessments; tutoring financial literacy education; and student success workshops and associated costs. Funds are not intended to be used for wages and benefits.
This fund was established to support funding for the WSU ice hockey club.

Scholarships

This scholarship is for students who are legally blind or visually impaired.
This scholarship is for Wright State students who have overcome adversity, with first preference going to those who are residential students. Recipients must have a minimum gpa of 2.0.
This scholarship supports full-time or part-time continuing students with physical or sensory disabilities, who have participated in Adapted Recreation Programs, and have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.0.

This fund established by the Beavercreek Lions Club to support Wright State undergraduate students who are legally blind
This scholarship is for current members of Beta Phi Omega who have been members for at least one year.
This scholarship is for veterans attending Wright State. Recipients must be degree seeking students who are veterans, with preference being given to those veterans who participated in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Please contact the Office of Veteran Affairs for details on how to apply for this award.

This scholarship is for African American continuing students who have shown leadership qualities in campus activities. Recipients must have documented financial need and have a minimum gpa at Wright State of 2.7.
This scholarship is for students of Hispanic descent with a minimum gpa of 2.5. Preference is given to those applicants who have demonstrated financial need.
This scholarship helps full-time undergraduate students of Asian, Hispanic, or Native American ancestry or from any other underrepresented group.
This scholarship was established to provide financial support to students who have demonstrated leadership potential and/or community service. Recipients must be undergraduate students, have financial need, maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.
This scholarship is for students of Native American descent who have a minimum gpa of 2.5. First preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.
